Webmaster Lagoon is classified as an automatic links exchanger and/or an automated 3 way links builder and once you're a member you can also participate in their affiliate program.

Webmaster Lagoon has 5 subscription levels, Embryo, Hatchling, Baby, Swamp, and Alligator. What's good about this service is you can try it out on one or two sites for several months before committing any serious money to the service.

The service uses PHP scripts for displaying the directory links page and is a pretty basic looking page display. I just started using this service in Aug 2008 and have signed up as a Hatchling member.

I'm waiting to see how two of my other web sites perform before giving my full recommendation one way or the other. Check back in Nov for an update.

In my opinion the quality of the reviews are low. I looked through several of the reviews I received and found that almost half of every article I looked at included disclaimers and guarantees copied from the products website. The reviews really consisted of two to three short paragraphs.

The 3 Way Links System works OK but does not guarantee you will get more traffic to your site. You will get a higher ranking in the Google search page based on the keywords you use. You only get to setup 3 keywords for the link pages so use your keywords wisely.

By the way, you'll need to be patient if you sign up for and use the service because it's going to take at least 6 months before you'll notice anything. It takes that long just to build up the link pages.
