Product Research Log - Site Stealer
Site Steeler ==> Listed in Affiliate Marketing Guides
July 20, 2007
I was on the Wealthy Affiliates web site and browsing the forums. After reading several posts, I felt a whole lot better about my final analysis on the product. In my opinion and several other people's opinions the final word is do not buy this one.

I received an email from Michael Cheney yesterday telling me the price of Site Stealer is going to be raised not once but three times starting on Friday. This is a marketing trick to get you to feel like you're going to miss out if you don't buy right away at the lower price. That way, once the price goes up you will surely buy before it goes up again. My trust gauge on Michael Cheney as a reputable marketing expert just went down.
I bought it and feel like a fool! Once I made the purchase I was hit immediately with an upsell, buying the resell rights to the ebook.
The download area has the manual in PDF format and there are videos to watch. I've already spent 15 to 20 minutes just trying to download all the files that come with it. I think they could have organized it better.
Just finished skimming the ebook. The book is ok, nothing really new in it. There might be a few things that add value to it. If you already have a good book on affiliate marketing and creating websites then you're not not going to learn anything new from this book.
My first thought after skimming Site Steeler is if you really want to learn about building landing pages and using good affiliate maketing practices then a much better solution is joining Wealthy Affiliates. We have a write up and full review on Wealthy Affiliates on the Affiliate Marketing Coaching page. You can also read the full review for Wealthy Affiliates by clicking here.

Landing page looks good and sounds good, but...
Just did a search on google for site stealer harris fellman. Google returned 204 entries and so far they've all been postive reviews. Now there's a surprise.
My initial reaction is that it's too good to be true so that means it's not a good thing. I believe this is just another get rich quick scheme and really has no merit. I'll have to think about this one for a while because I'm not very interested in spending $37 on another get rich quick scheme.
