What can you get for $7? A fast food meal? A couple of gallons of gas? Movie tickets? In other words, seven dollars cannot buy you anything substantial, right? Well; it is about to change. I am going to tell you about an ebook called '7 Dollar Secrets' which simply changed my opinion on ebook marketing. If you interested in making money online, this is an article you should not miss.
I am an internet marketer. I don’t have a day job and I make my living online. When I first got into online marketing, my idea of a killer product was completely different from what it is now. I was thinking about creating and promoting a product that would give me monster profits right away. I thought of creating a digital product, preferably an ebook, and sell it for hundreds of dollars. I did create a few digital products, but, to my dismay, I was only able to sell a few copies. I realized I was making a mistake, but I had no idea what it was. One day, I came to know about this ebook called '7 Dollar Secrets'. To say that it changed my life would be an understatement.
The book is actually very small. It is only about 30 pages. So, my initial reaction was like 'what could such a small ebook possibly contain'. The content of the book, however, proved me wrong. 7 Dollar Secrets taught me that short, inexpensive information products actually sell better than elaborate, expensive products.
The basic premise of the book is simple. People do not hesitate to buy something that only costs a few dollars. Even if they do not know how good the product is, they are willing to give it a shot as it costs only a few dollars. On the other hand, they think twice before buying any product that costs hundreds of dollars. The author of 7 Dollar Secrets says that for a large number of people, hundred dollars is a lot of money and they cannot afford to spend it on ebooks and stuff like that. So, a vast majority of people are more likely to buy a product that costs less than $10 than a product that costs $175.
Think about it. There are two ebooks. One costs $7 and the other one costs $100. Both ebooks have got spectacular reviews. Both ebooks contain highly valuable information. Which one would you be willing to buy readily? Nine out of ten times, it will be the $7 book. You can ask this question to anyone and the answer more or less will be the same. So, what is more profitable? Selling 1000 copies of an ebook that costs $7 or selling 15 copies of an ebook that costs $100? This is the question that the author of '7 Dollar Secrets' asks.
Needless to say, I was surprised to see this argument from the author. Most internet gurus try to sell their products for hundreds of dollars, but here’s a guy who is not only ready to give his product away for a measly $7, but is encouraging you to do the same. I tried following the method explained in '7 Dollar Secrets' and created an ebook for just $7. Well; guess what? I made 7 sales in the first two days, which was nothing short of incredible.
The book changed my idea of internet marketing forever. From that moment, I started concentrating on selling a large number of low cost products as opposed to selling only a few high cost products. The former, according to the author of '7 Dollar Secrets', is easier for two reasons.
1. Creating a small ebook is very easy as opposed to creating an elaborate ebook or an e-audio course. It does not take a lot of time and it does not cost you any money.
2. It is possible to use the method described in '7 Dollar Secrets' and create a number of low cost information products and sell them. If you can create 5 high quality $7 reports and sell thousands of copies of each of those reports, imagine how much money you can make in the long run.
I am an internet marketer and I for one know just how difficult it can be for newbies to get started with online marketing. In fact, even experienced people sometimes find it difficult to make money online. So, no matter which category you belong to, you should give '7 Dollar Secrets' a try. It will change the way you look at internet marketing for sure.
