I'm being honest with you on this and I hope you appreciate it because usually nobody will say anything bad about a company or a product they're promoting.
First of all Wealthy Affiliate is not a scam, but they also don't provide a perfect service either. There are people unhappy with Wealthy Affiliate, and they're aware of the issues people have with them.
The part that most people don't understand is that every move Wealthy Affiliate makes is not a pure financial one. I can honestly say they are continuously working to make their service better. In fact Wealthy Affiliate has improved significantly since I joined in Feb 2006 and have made significant improvements in their service since then.
BUT, they're not perfect and there are things they do need to improve.
You can waste your time going through 1,000's of positive reviews about Wealthy Affiliate looking for something negative or keep reading and I'll tell you know about some things that are not "the best" in Wealthy Affiliate.
Here are three things they're not doing very well...
(1) The resources. Even thought they have 300+ resources (video, tutorial, PDF) on Internet marketing subjects, it's really only good for beginner and intermediate marketers. It's lacking for advanced marketing techniques.
(2) The flow of training. As the community has grown and resources added, they've let some things slip through the cracks with flow between all the resources (there are over 300 tutorials). Because of this there are resources in some places that don't make sense.
(3) Efficiency. As Wealthy Affiliate has grown into one of the biggest Internet marketing online communities, the system has slowed down. However, it's still pretty good and responsive.
Why are I telling you this? Because you can go out on the Internet and find 10,000 reviews and articles about how great Wealthy Affiliate is, so shouldn't you know a few things wrong with it too!
We both know there are always going to be shortfalls in a service or areas that can be improved. They didn't become the #1 ranked Internet marketing community by over 500,000 sites by pretending they're "perfect" and not improving their service.
Wealthy Affiliate has informed us they're going through some major changes right now (in the background) and in late September the issues mentioned above will be addressed. They're just a few months away from major improvements and I am looking forward to see the next new version of the site.
Wealthy Affiliate isn't perfect, nor do they claim to be. But they do promise us one thing. They are doing their best to deliver the best service they can to Wealthy Affiliate members and will continue to improve their serviced based on our feedback!
